MANICURES
During a manicure session, you can choose between traditional polish and no polish. Traditional polish tends to dry slowly and may chip easily, especially for clients who use their hands frequently. The durability of the polish will vary depending on individual lifestyles. This service is suitable for clients looking to preserve the health of their nails, those who enjoy frequent color changes, and those needing a break from more elaborate nail enhancements. It's advisable to avoid intricate designs with traditional polish. Instead, consider opting for gel manicures or nail enhancements (such as dip or acrylic) if you desire intricate designs.
PEDICURES
We consistently prioritize hygiene by employing new pedicure tub liners, disposable files, pumice stones, and buffers for each client. Metal tools such as cuticle nippers, pushers, and foot files undergo a thorough cleansing process, beginning with soaking in Barbicide for the recommended duration before sterilizing in our dry heat autoclave machine. Our pedicure services offer various options, including scrubs and massages, to cater to individual preferences. For those seeking a quick, low-maintenance, and gentle experience, we recommend our Express Pedicures. If you desire additional massage time and specialized care, such as callus treatment and exfoliation, we suggest starting with our Signature Pedicure and customizing your experience accordingly.
GEL MANICURE
In this manicure, we utilize gel polish, which offers superior longevity compared to regular polish and requires curing using an LED/UV lamp. Gel polish dries instantly upon completion of the service, eliminating the risk of smudging. Depending on your lifestyle, gel polish can maintain its pristine appearance for 7 to 21 days. This option suits clients seeking durable color without adding artificial length or enhancements to their natural nails. The removal process involves soaking the gel with acetone, ensuring minimal exposure to maintain nail integrity. Freehand nail art is possible with gel polish, but techniques like encapsulation or ombre are not recommended.
IBX REPAIR MANICURE
IBX is a natural nail-strengthening treatment designed to fortify, repair, and shield the natural nail. It is free from HEMA and avoids potential skin allergens. Operating within the nail, IBX penetrates its upper layers, forming interlocking bonds that enhance durability. It addresses nail imperfections and weaknesses, fostering natural nail growth. It is recommended 3-5 times every two weeks for optimal results, especially for clients seeking to restore strength post-nail enhancement procedures like dip or acrylic. Activation is achieved with a heating lamp, while sealing requires a UV/LED lamp.
APRES GEL-X
Gel-X offers an alternative to traditional acrylic and dip methods, providing comprehensive nail care, including cuticle care. Utilizing a full cover tip system, Gel-X ensures that the nail tip extends from the base of the cuticle to either the free edge or beyond, with pre-shaped tips filled to a predetermined length. Notably, this service lacks odor, minimal dust, and filing and requires curing under an LED lamp. Pricing for Gel-X services varies based on the chosen length and design, with shape customization already included.
DIP POWDER SETS
Dip powder utilizes finer granules than acrylic powder and uses a unique resin technique. During the process, the client immerses their finger in the powder to coat the nail, providing a protective layer. Standard dip powder services do not include added tips for length, these can be added for an extra fee. Suitable for clients aiming to promote nail growth while safeguarding their nails, thin layers of powder strengthen the nail surface, reducing the risk of breakage. Dip powder is particularly beneficial for clients who favor natural nails, but desire added protection against splitting or breakage. Removal is achieved through acetone soaking and minor drill use.
SOLAR SETS
Solar sets consist of powder combined with liquid monomer, applied using a brush with a powder bead at its tip. Additional services like cuticle trimming and hand massages may be available for an extra fee. Ideal for clients desiring long nails or intricate designs, solar sets powder provides the highest level of durability among our nail enhancement options. Proper soaking with acetone is necessary for safe removal to preserve the natural nail's integrity, though removal may take longer due to acrylic's resilience. Refills can be done based on the current set's durability and integrity
GEL OVERLAY
(Builder/Soft Gel) Applied directly onto natural nails, this gel-like nail polish acts as an overlay or short extensions. It functions similarly to traditional gel, but dries exceptionally strong and durable, reducing the likelihood of chipping between sessions.
(Poly/Hard Gel) Poly gel nails blend the most desirable charecteristics of gel and other nail enhancements, delivering both durability and long-lasting effects while maintaining a flexible feel.
LENGH & SHAPE
At no additional cost, Polish Parker and Roe will shape your nails as square, rounded square, and rounded shape. For an additional charge, shaping will include an almond, coffin, ballerina, stiletto, tapered/narrow square, and narrow oval shapes. Please be aware of the required length of nails to complete the process of shape. If the nail is long enough, our technicians will use unique materials to develop your nail shapes. Otherwise, if the nail is not long enough, it will cause over-filling which can lead to permanent damage to nail beds, bleeding, and soreness. Our professional technicians will take a careful look at your nails and fingers and recommend which nail shape will be the most suitable for you.
NAIL DESIGNS
Our talented technicians specialize in various ways of designing nails that include abstract art, free-handed painting, encapsulation, ombre, flora, line art, nature-inspired, and much more. NAIL FIX
If you are having nail issues and need a repair, come see us at Polish Parker and Roe. We provide a 5-day nail repair guarantee, covering gel/polish, chipping, breakage, and other enhancements at our salon. However, WE WILL NOT COVER breakage repairs due to excessive blunt force that causes the nails to crack and result in bleeding, disfiguring the nail enhancement, biting, or filling your nails. Please contact us as soon as possible with any issues you experience, and we will prepare you with accommodation on your next visit. If you cannot come in for nail repairs during the 5 days, you will be charged. Please do not hesitate to contact us regarding any issues with your services and we will be ready to assist as soon as possible.
NAIL ENHANCEMENT REMOVALS
Introducing our Nail Enhancement Removal service, meticulously designed to safely remove artificial nail enhancements while preserving your natural nails' health. We use a gentle soaking method with acetone, ensuring comfort throughout the process. Both hands are immersed in acetone with a warm towel for dip and acrylic removal. Gel removal involves individually wrapping each finger with foil and cotton. Rest assured, we never use harsh tools to pry off your enhancements. SALON POLICIES
ONLINE GIFT CARD POLICIES
Gift cards purchased online require a processing period of seven days from the date of purchase before they can be used at the salon. This delay is necessary as our sales platform needs time to fully process and settle the payment. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please note that this policy does not apply to gift cards purchased in-store
If you're running late by 10 minutes or more for your appointment, please reach out to the salon at 713.865.4000 so we can do our best to accommodate you and hold your spot. Should you exceed the 10-minute grace period without notifying us, we'll strive to fit you in based on current availability, treating your reservation as a walk-in. Upon accumulating more than 3 consecutive no-shows, a nonrefundable and nontransferable deposit of $50 will be required for future bookings. This deposit will be credited towards your service. To retain your deposit, kindly cancel your appointment with at least 24 hours' notice; otherwise, it will be forfeited. Should you miss another appointment or exceed the 10-minute grace period without prior notice, the $50 deposit will become nonrefundable and nontransferable. A new $50 deposit will be necessary to secure your next appointment. Walk-ins are welcome on a first-come, first-served basis
APPOINTMENT POLICY
For group reservations involving 4 or more guests, please reach out to the salon directly. Online booking is unavailable for large parties.
GROUP RESERVATIONS
Regulations for refunding/ transferring deposit:
● Appointment cancellation or rescheduling must occur at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time for all deposit refunds.
● If the entire deposit is not utilized during the appointment, the remaining amount will be retained on the client's profile for future services.
● Clients may use the deposit to cover expenses for other members of their party during the appointment.
● If an emergency arises and the reservation needs to be canceled or rescheduled less than 24 hours prior to the appointment, please provide appropriate legal documentation for the deposit to be transferred.
For missed appointments, a doctor's note on official letterhead, including the doctor's signature, your name, and the date of the missed appointment, is required. In the case of car accidents, please provide a police report with your name and the date of the missed appointment.
ACCEPTABLE PROOF
Deposit is NON-refundable and NON-transferrable when:
The appointment was either rescheduled after the 24-hour period or missed altogether. If 50% of the party arrives late by more than 15 minutes of their scheduled appointment time. If 50% of the party fails to attend their reservation on the designated day and time, please notify us 24 hours prior to the reservation if any members of your party will be unable to make it
Please feel free to reach out to us if you require a nail fix or encounter any issues with your service. We offer a flexible 5-day guarantee on nail fixes, covering gel or polish chipping, breakage resulting from thin initial nail enhancements done at our salon, or any application-related concerns during the appointment or service. However, please note that this guarantee does not extend to nail issues caused by excessive force such as nails cracking and bleeding due to blunt force, or self-inflicted damage such as biting or filing nails at home. If you're unable to visit us within the 5-day period for a nail fix, please contact us as soon as you notice any issues so that we can accommodate your next visit. Any issues reported beyond the 5-day period may incur charges. We're here to assist you with any concerns regarding your services, so please don't hesitate to get in touch with us.
